Jonathan White joined Siebert Brandford Shank in 2001 as a Senior Vice President in our New York office and is the lead banker for all New York State and Massachusetts issuers.Mr. White was formerly the Deputy Comptroller for Public Finance for the City of New York, overseeing all City and City related debt activities for the Office of the Comptroller. In this and his prior position as Assistant Comptroller for Debt Management, Mr. White was a key participant in the creation and implementation of the Transitional Finance Authority (TFA) and TSASC-the Tobacco Settlement Asset Securitization Corporation, and in other important debt management initiatives of the Comptroller's office. During his tenure with the City of New York, the City and its three largest related borrowers (TFA, TSASC and the Water Finance Authority) issued over $47 billion of debt.Mr. White served in the Comptroller's Office of the City of New York from 1994 to 2002. From 1989 to 1994 he held various posts with New York City economic development finance agencies. Prior to his eleven years of public service he worked in the international divisions at Chase Manhattan Bank and Chemical Bank covering clients in Brazil, and also worked at Dean Witter Reynolds.A graduate of Dartmouth College, Mr. White did post-graduate work at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University.
