Jorge Gerdau Johannpeter has been working for the Gerdau group since 1954. Mr. Jorge Johannpeter became an executive officer of Gerdau S.A. in 1971. He has served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Gerdau S.A. since 1983 and served as President from 1983 through 2006. He also served as President of Gerdau S.A.�s Executive Committee from 2002 through 2006. Mr. Johannpeter served as Chairman of the Company from October 2002 until June 2005. He holds a degree in Law from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. |
