Jose A. ("Tony") Santana, CPA is a director at LECG. Mr. Santana has over 15 years of experience applying accounting, financial and economic principles to the litigation process. He specializes in the determination of damages, the investigation of alleged frauds, and the creation of computer models. Mr. Santana has worked on cases involving antitrust, breach of contract, fraud, patent infringement and lost earnings of both companies and individuals. This work has been done on behalf of companies in a variety of industries including agriculture, high technology, and transportation. Mr. Santana has provided expert testimony on issues such as bank frauds, breach of contract damages, lost earnings, and real estate disputes.
Mr. Santana holds a BS in accounting from Loyola Marymount University and is a Certified Public Accountant. Prior to joining LECG, Mr. Santana held director-level positions with Navigant Consulting and FTI in Los Angeles. Previously, he was a partner of Simpson LLP, a firm of certified public accountants specializing in litigation services. Mr. Santana came to Simpson from Coopers & Lybrand, (PricewaterhouseCoopers), where he performed litigation services, audits, due diligence reviews, and lender services. Mr. Santana also served as a senior audit officer for California Commerce Bank in Los Angeles. |
