Jose Maria Bermudez joined Rohm and Haas Company in 1989, and has held increasing levels of responsibility in a variety of roles, including Quality Engineer Apizaco Plant, Mexico, HR Manager, Rohm and Haas Mexico, Mexico, Account Manager Paper & Graphic Arts, Mexico, HR Regional Director LAR, Miami, Fl, HR role plus Country Manager Rohm and Haas Mexico, Mexico City, Country Manager Mexico plus CIS Business Manager, Mexico City, and LAR General Manager, Paint and Coatings Materials, Mexico City and most recently Operations, Human Resources, Sales and General Management.
In 2007 Mr. Bermudez began his current assignment as Latin American Regional (LAR) Director. In addition, he is Latin American Region General Manager for Paint and Coatings Materials. In this role, Mr. Bermudez is responsible for the execution of the company's growth plans in the Latin American Region. He was appointed a Vice President of Rohm and Haas Company in September 2007.
He received a BS in Chemical Engineering at University of Las Americas Mexico, an MS in Quality Management at Tampa College, Florida USA, and a Master in Business Administration at Vanderbilt University, USA.
Mr. Bermudez resides in Mexico City with his family. |
