Jose Octavio Reyes is president and chief operating officer of the Latin America Group of The Coca-Cola Company. Prior to this position Mr. Reyes served as division president North Latin America Division from 1996 until 2002. He has been with the Company since 1980 when he joined as a development manager in the Mexico Division as the North Latin America Division was then called.
Mr. Reyes worked in many positions within the division including strategic planning manager corporate development assistant director marketing assistant director in the planning and marketing planning functions. He was made region marketing director in 1987.
He has largely worked in Mexico except the periods 1987-1990 when he was brand manager for diet Coke and then Sprite in the corporate marketing function of the Company and 1990-1993 when he was division marketing director in Brazil.
Prior to his current position he was marketing and operations vice-president and deputy division president Mexico Division.
Mr. Reyes holds a B.S. in chemical engineering from the Universidad Aut�noma de Mexico and an MBA in business administration from the Instituto Tecnol�gico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey. |
