Mr. Pereyo's practice includes general civil and commercial litigation in both state and federal courts.
Experience
Before joining McConnell Valdes LLC, Mr. Pereyo DueZo worked as an intern in the United States Department of Justice, Office of Immigration Litigation, in Washington, D.C. He also worked as a legal assistant in the prominent D.C. firm, Arnold and Porter LLP. As a law student, he worked, as a summer associate, at McConnell Valdes LLC for two consecutive years and at the Office of the Solicitor General in Puerto Rico's Department of Justice.
Education
Mr. Pereyo DueZo graduated from Colegio San Ignacio High School in 2000. He subsequently obtained a Bachelor in Science, cum laude, from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University in 2004. As such, he majored in International Politics with a sub-field in International Law. Later on, Mr. Pereyo received his law degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law in 2007, where he was one of the Managing Editors of the School's Law Review as well as Teaching Assistant to Prof. Demetrio Fernandez QuiZones.
