Mr. Cannon is a Chairman on the Board of Advisors in the Etech firm's Environment, Land Use & Natural Resources practice and is Co-Leader of our Public Policy & Political Law practice. Prior to rejoining the firm, he was the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Geneva Steel from 1987 to 2001. He formerly served as Assistant Administrator for Air and Radiation, and Associate Administrator for Policy and Resource Management, at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. In the past Mr. Cannon has also served numerous organizations in the following capacities: member of the Board of Trustees of the American Enterprise Institute; member of the Administrative Conference of the United States; member of the Board of Trustees of the Salt Lake Olympic Organizing Committee; Chairman of the American Bar Association, Natural Resources Law Section, Air Quality Committee; Vice Chairman of the Committee of Interagency Radiation Research and Policy Coordination; United States Representative to the Environment Committee, Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development; and member of the United States Holocaust Memorial Council and capital campaign committee.
