Mr. Kaufman represents the firm�s clients in consumer warranty matters, with an emphasis in representing automobile manufacturers in all aspects of Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act, Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, Consumer Legal Remedies Act, and Unfair Business Practices claims. He has represented manufacturers at all stages of consumer warranty litigation, from pre-litigation attempts at resolution through mediation, law and motion practice, leading up to and including trial. Products Liability Mr. Kaufman also represents the firm�s clients in the defense of products liability claims in both state and federal courts. He recently second-chaired a three-week products liability trial involving allegations of brake and airbag defects, resulting in a defense verdict. Commercial and Business Litigation Mr. Kaufman represents the firm's clients in a variety of commercial and business litigation matters, including breach of contract, bad faith, and declaratory relief actions. |
