Mr. Joseph A. Marengi is employed as a Venture Partner for Austin Ventures, a venture capital firm. His focus is on the hardware and software industry. Prior to joining Austin Ventures he worked for Dell Inc from June 1997 to his retirement in March 2007, serving as Senior Vice President of the Corporate Business Group for four years before becoming Senior Vice President of Dell Americas and later Senior Vice President of the Commercial Business Group. Previously, Mr. Marengi served in various executive leadership roles at Novell, most recently as President and Chief Operating Officer of Channels. Prior to Novell Systems, Inc., Mr. Marengi has held various executive, sales and information management positions in the technology and defense industries.
