Joseph C. Bouknight, 53, is a 1976 graduate of the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. He has more than 28 years of experience as a Human Resources professional. Prior to
assuming his current position with SCANA in April 2004, he worked for Dan River, Inc., based in Danville, Virginia, from 1999 to 2004, as Vice President Human Resources. Prior to that, he was employed by Sonoco Products Company in Hartsville, SC from 1976 to 1999, where he served in a variety of positions including Division Vice President of Human Resources. In his current position, he is responsible for all Human Resource functions for SCANA Corporation and its subsidiaries as well as Corporate Security, Claims and Aviation.
