Joseph C. Kavanagh is a Managing Director in the Financial Institutions investment banking group of Friedman Billings Ramsey & Co., Inc. He is involved with raising public and private capital and executing M&A transactions in the insurance industry.
Prior to joining FBR in 2003, Mr. Kavanagh was a Director in the Insurance investment banking practice of Wachovia Securities where he was responsible for originating and executing M&A, private equity and corporate finance transactions in the insurance industry.
Prior to joining Wachovia Securities, Mr. Kavanagh was a Vice President of Marsh & McLennan Securities, where he worked with the Marsh & McLennan Companies as well as insurance and reinsurance clients of the Marsh & McLennan Companies, on acquisitions, divestitures and private capital transactions. Mr. Kavanagh has over ten years of insurance investment banking experience.
Mr. Kavanagh received his MBA from New York University in 1995 and a B.S. from Washington & Lee University in 1989. |
