Joseph C. Lane is Vice Chairman of Bay4 Capital, LLC, and Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Hyphos360, Inc.
As part of the leasing, investment banking and asset financing industries for 25 years, Joe served as a Director, Vice Chairman and ultimately as Chairman of the Equipment Leasing Association. He was President and Chief Executive Officer of GATX Capital Corporation when Sun Financial Group, Inc. became part of the GATX enterprise. More recently, Joe was President of IBM Credit Corporation, Group Executive -IBM Global Financing, and Senior Vice President of IBM. As head of the world's largest information technology financing business, he was responsible for a $40 billion operation, in over 40 countries around the globe. He was a member of IBM's Operations Committee, Worldwide Management Council and Senior Management Group. With experience in aircraft, railcar, locomotive, utilities, real estate and technology financing, Joe has been involved with large, medium and small ticket transactions. As an investment banker with a regional firm in Texas, he completed transactions in oil and gas exploration, offshore supply, and oilfield services. Joe has had direct involvement with capital markets worldwide, and has served on boards of directors and advisory boards in Europe, Asia and North America. He was the Chairman of Centron, DPL, a provider of technology solutions and hardware. Joe currently serves on the Board of Directors of Oxford Finance Corporation, a specialized financial services company that provides secured financing for emerging growth life sciences companies. He is on the Board of Link Institute, a not-for-profit organization promoting core virtues and core curriculum for K-12 education, and he is a member of the Advisory Board for the Carl Schmitt Foundation.
Joe is an Associate Fellow of Davenport College at Yale University, where he earned his BA in American History. |
