Mr. McNay is a member of the Board of Directors, having served on the Board since 1987. He is Chairman and Chief Investment Officer of Essex Investment Management Company, LLC, in Boston, Massachusetts. He oversees all of Essex's investment strategies and is a member of each portfolio management team responsible for such strategies. Also, as one of Essex's four Managing Principals, Mr. McNay is responsible for the overall management of the firm. Prior to founding Essex in 1976, he was an Executive Vice President and Director of Endowment Management & Research Corp. for nine years. Before 1967, Mr. McNay was Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager at the Massachusetts Company. Currently he serves as Trustee of National Public Radio; Simmons College; the Dana Farber Cancer Institute; the Children's Hospital Investment Committee; and Roxbury Latin School. He received his A.B. degree from Yale University and his M.B.A. from the Wharton School of Finance. |
