Joseph E. Wrkich is an attorney in the firm's Electrical/Mechanical Practice Group, focusing on patent prosecution. He has experience prosecuting and drafting patent applications in diversified technologies, which include telecommunication technologies, satellite communication systems, digital signal processing, signal compression and encoding schemes, consumer electronics, semiconductor devices, and medical imaging devices. Mr. Wrkich also has experience drafting claims to cover standards. His prior legal work experience includes a clerkship with the Office of Unfair Import Investigation at the U.S. International Trade Commission.
Mr. Wrkich received his Law degree from the College of William and Mary, School of Law and is a member of the Order of the Coif. He received his Bachelor of Physics degree and Minors in Business Administration and Mathematics from California State University, at Fullerton where he graduated summa cum laude. Mr. Wrkich is admitted to the Virginia State Bar and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Mr. Wrkich has conducted research and published articles in the area of electron scattering. He was also a speaker at the American Physical Society�s 2001 Regional Spring Meeting at the University of California, Irvine. |
