Joseph G. Cosby concentrates his practice on complex commercial and criminal litigation, and nonprofit law. Mr. Cosby has provided litigation services and advice to clients concerning a broad range of areas, including bankruptcy, commercial transactions, ERISA, environmental clean-up, telecommunications, securities, insurance coverage, Constitutional law, the Privacy Act, attorney malpractice, international trade, real estate, banking, and white collar criminal issues. Mr. Cosby has trial experience in numerous cases including successfully trying a patent infringement action in front of the International Trade Commission.
Mr. Cosby served as a law clerk to the Honorable Jerry E. Smith, U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit. He graduated cum laude in 1988 from the University of Michigan Law School and graduated from the University of Chicago, where he obtained his A.B. Mr. Cosby is a member of the bars of the District of Columbia and Massachusetts. |
