Joseph L. Coote, Vice President, heads CRA's Chemical and Petroleum practice. He specializes in the design and implementation of competitive strategies for international companies in the chemical and process industries. He has expertise in strategy development, business repositioning, merger and acquisition analysis, and business valuation. Among the recent engagements Mr. Coote has directed are a major business repositioning and portfolio assessment for a specialty chemical company struggling with shareholder value issues, and a business turnaround study for a major integrated polymer producer. He was formerly a senior research associate at Sanford C. Bernstein & Co., where he was responsible for European chemical equity research and, prior to that position, a member of the chemical and pharmaceutical practice at A.T. Kearney. |
