Joseph L. Filbeck B.S., M.A. M.D. - Medical Director. Dr. Filbeck has spent the last nine years exclusively in the area of anti-aging and creating products that slow down or reverse aging. Joe is an internationally recognized researcher, lecturer and medical expert in the emerging field of anti-aging. Dr. Filbeck has appeared on variety of ABC, NBC and CBS affiliates across the country and nationally on PBS as an expert on Anti-Aging Medicine. In addition, Dr. Filbeck is a television spokesperson for the Life Extension Foundation. He has lectured on Anti-Aging in the U.S. as well as in Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam, Venice, Madrid, London, and St. Petersburg with the American Institute of Medical Education. His patients come from across the United States as well as from South Africa, South America, England, and Japan. Dr. Filbeck was a founding member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, with a membership of over 5,000 medical doctors. Currently Dr. Filbeck is the Vice President and Medical Director for Advanced Nutraceuticals, where he recently developed two new anti-aging products and is also the Chief Medical Director for the Palm La Jolla Medical Spa. Dr. Filbeck received a bachelors and masters degree in Psychology and was completing a doctorate in Physiology when accepted to the University of Arkansas School of Medicine. He completed his residency in anesthesiology, which he practiced for 22 years before, with his last position as Chief of Anesthesiology before devoting full time to his life long passion in the field of anti-aging.
