Jay Hooley is executive vice president and head of State Street Corporation's asset servicing securities finance and investment research and trading activities worldwide. Mr. Hooley is a member of State Street's Operating Group and also a director on the boards of Boston Financial Data Services (BFDS) and International Financial Data Services (IFDS) which offers the global mutual fund industry specialized shareholder and investor servicing solutions.
Mr. Hooley has held several leadership positions since joining State Street in 1986. From 1988 to 1990 he served as president and chief executive officer of National Financial Data Services and from 1990 to 2000 he served as president and chief executive officer of Boston Financial Data Services.
Mr. Hooley is a member of The Boston Club's Corporate Advisory Board which is focused on identifying and recommending qualified women candidates for openings on corporate boards. He is also a director on the board of The Boys and Girls Club of Boston.
Mr. Hooley received his Bachelor of Science degree from Boston College.
