Joseph L. Sullivan, president of CalEnergy Generation Philippines, is responsible for CalEnergy Generation�s 490-megawatt geothermal power facilities located on the island of Leyte in the Philippines and the 150-megawatt Casecnan multi-purpose irrigation and hydroelectric facility in Northern Luzon. Sullivan has over 30 years experience in the power generation industry.
Sullivan started his career with Southern Company and later joined Cajun Electric Power Cooperative, Inc. Sullivan joined Mirant in July 1999 where he held various management positions with Mirant in the Philippines. Prior to joining CalEnergy Generation in March 2004, Sullivan was the executive vice president of operations for Mirant in the Philippines which has a total capacity of 2,200 megawatts. Sullivan studied business management at Louisiana State University from 1989 to 1992 and is currently participating in an Executive Leadership Development Program of the Asian Institute of Management. |
