Biography
Joseph M. Mendes, CPA began his career with Kemper CPA Group LLP in 1994, immediately after obtaining his degree. Since then, he has gained experience in individual, partnership, and corporate taxation in many industries. He has gained audit experience in the governmental, not-for-profit, and special district industries. Mr. Mendes is also specializing in financial planning. He is a licensed investment advisor representative in the state of California. He became a partner in the Firm on May 1, 2000.
Mr. Mendes graduated Summa Cum Laude from California State University, Stanislaus with a bachelor of science degree in business administration, with a concentration in accounting, in 1993. He was named Outstanding Accounting Student of the Year in 1993. Joseph became a Certified Public Accountant in the State of California in November of 1996.
