Joseph P. Denny is senior advisor to the chairman, having previously served as president and chief operating officer. Mr. Denny joined Rouse & Associates in 1979 and, as a managing general partner of the Urban Group, was responsible for the development of the Philadelphia Stock Exchange Building and the $700 million Liberty Place Building, a 2.5 million square foot mixed-use project. Prior to joining Rouse & Associates, Mr. Denny was with The Rouse Company, a developer of regional shopping malls and Lev Zetlin Associates, an engineering firm in Boston and New York. Mr. Denny is a Vice Chairman of the Industrial and Office Park Council of the Urban Land Institute and serves on the Advisory Board of the Wharton Business School Real Estate Center and the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts (NAREIT) Legislative Advisory Council. He has been a guest lecturer at the Wharton Graduate School of Business, Temple University and the University of California at Berkeley. A 1968 graduate of Villanova University, he received a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering. |
