Joseph Detorie has 25 years of experience in the insurance finance industry. He joined PRMS in 1991 and currently serves as its Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. He is responsible for the overall direction of the finance, HR/administration and information systems segments of PRMS. His current functions include analysis and presentation of underwriting and financial results, contract negotiation, and corporate strategic planning. Prior to joining PRMS, Mr. Detorie was employed for eleven years by AVEMCO subsidiaries and his responsibilities included serving as Treasurer of Eastern Aviation and Marine Underwriters and Director of Eastern Aviation and Marine Insurance Company. He was responsible for the financial and operational departments as well as the tactical implementation of strategic corporate plans.
