Joseph R. Boni III is Vice President and Treasurer of DPL Inc. and its principal subsidiary, The Dayton Power and Light Company. As Treasurer, Mr. Boni is responsible for the Company's and DP&L's treasury function encompassing all aspects of the Company's and DP&L's cash and liquidity management, investments and borrowings, bank relationships, tax and payroll, investor relations and for recommending and executing the Company's and DP&L's capital structure requirements.
Prior to joining DPL in 2005, Mr. Boni was Chief Financial Officer for Global Integrated Business Solutions, a private equity sponsored start-up firm that provided real estate and management consulting services. Prior to that, he was Treasurer and Executive Officer of Roadway Corporation, a publicly-traded, Fortune 500 transportation holding company, where he was responsible for treasury, mergers and acquisitions, pension and 401(k) management, accounts receivables and invoicing, international finance, executive compensation, payroll, and taxes. He has also held positions with American Greetings Corporation and KPMG LLP.
Mr. Boni received both Master in Business Administration and Master of Accountancy degrees from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from John Carroll University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant and member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. |
