Mr. Tim Emrick has more than 36 years of experience working with Department of Defense programs. As Senior Vice President for the SI International Engineering business unit, he is responsible for the operation of all DoD and selected DoE and commercial programs.
Prior to moving to SI International in 2000, Emrick served as the Vice President for Space Systems Division for Systems Technology Associates, Inc. in Colorado Springs, Colorado in 1994. During the last 11 years, he expanded the division from a single person to over 350 personnel. His system engineering organization is currently supporting the four commands in Colorado Springs, Air Force Space Command (AFSPC), Northern Command, North American Defense Command (NORAD) and Army Space Command (ARSPACE) and United States Strategic Command (STRATCOM) in Omaha, NE. In addition, his organization is responsible for providing support for Counter Drug programs, numerous programs in Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) in both Boston and Dayton and numerous Navy programs in various locations.
Emrick began his DoD experience in the Air Force as 2nd Lieutenant in 1968. He had numerous assignments in the Strategic Air Command (SAC), Air Force Systems Command (AFSC), and Air Force Space Command(AFSPC). During the next 26 years, Colonel Emrick developed experience in intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs), acquisition management and space systems. He has had leadership roles include missile crewmember, acquisition director, squadron commander, Director of Operations for the 1st Space Wing, and numerous director positions for the Directorate of Requirements in Air Force Space Command. During his six years in Air Force Space Command, he was responsible for the acquisition, development and installation of such programs as GPS, MILSTAR, SBIRS, CMU and the transfer of the launch ranges to AFSPC.
Emrick has a Masters degree from Webster University and a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from Ohio University. |
