Joseph V. Gulfo, M.D., M.B.A. has served as our President and Chief Executive Officer and a member of our board of directors since January 2004. From May 1999 to November 2004, he served as Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of Antigen Express, Inc., a development-stage company developing immunodiagnostics and therapeutics for cancer. Previously, he was Chief Operating Officer and a Director of Anthra Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and Chairman of that company's UK subsidiary. Dr. Gulfo serves as a director of ProCertus BioPharm, Inc., a privately-held company. Dr. Gulfo received a B.S. in Biology from Seton Hall University, an M.D. from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and an M.B.A. in Finance from Seton Hall University. |
