Joseph W. Alsop is co-founder and chief executive officer of Progress Software Corporation, a global supplier of application infrastructure software used to develop, deploy, integrate and manage business applications. He has led PSC since its founding to its position as a global software industry leader with annual revenue approaching one half billion dollars.
Alsop has over 25 years of management and technical experience in the computer industry. He was founder and chief executive officer of Intercomp, Inc. (acquired by Logicon, Inc.) and later served as president and chief executive officer of Aristonics Corporation.
Alsop received his B.S. degree in electrical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and attended the Sloan School of Management at MIT. |
