Mr. Burke joined NorthMarq Capital in September 2003 when NorthMarq acquired the mortgage banking division of Legg Mason Real Estate Services (LMRES) where he was employed since 1986. Mr. Burke is Executive Vice President and Senior Managing Director for NorthMarq�s Baltimore Regional office with responsibility for all commercial mortgage and equity production in the greater Baltimore area. Mr. Burke has over 25 years experience in the mortgage banking business. He is past President of the Maryland Mortgage Bankers Association, and former Chairman of the Mortgage Bankers Advisory Committee to the State of Maryland Industrial and Commercial Real Estate Development Fund. Mr. Burke received a B.S. Degree in Business Administration from University of Maryland, and has taught capitalization theory for the Greater Baltimore Board of Realtors and income property investment for Johns Hopkins University. Mr. Burke has been a guest speaker for National Association of Industrial and Office Parks (NAIOP) and Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR). He is a licensed real estate broker in the State of Maryland. |
