Joe Carfagna was named Vice Chairman of Leading Edge Aviation Solutions in July of 2004 when his firm, Wings Aviation International, Inc., joined forces with Corporate Aviation Analysis & Planning (CAAP) and Leading Edge was born.Joe was formerly founder and President of Wings Aviation International. He started the company as Wings Associates in 1988 as an aviation brokerage firm providing services for buying, selling and leasing corporate aircraft. In 1993 the company became Wings Aviation International Inc. to reflect the more international nature of the business and the advent of the global marketplace.In the past 16 years Wings was involved in hundreds of aircraft transactions and became a recognized leader in business aircraft transaction services.Prior to Wings, Joe was President of EAF Aircraft Sales, Inc. Before EAF, in 1970, Joe helped to found Executive Air Fleet. Between 1970 and 1982 he served as Sales Manager, Vice President of Marketing, Executive Vice President and finally Chief Operating OfficerJoe has more than 40 years of aviation experience. He served in the US Army and attended Newark College of Engineering. |
