Joseph P. Gabbert is Executive Vice President of Human Resources at McAfee Inc. In this role he is responsible for overseeing all aspects of worldwide human resources including employee recruitment compensation and benefits training and development change management employee relations community development and mergers and acquisitions activities Gabbert reports directly to chief executive officer and president David DeWalt.
Prior to joining McAfee in 2007 Gabbert held a variety of senior leadership roles at notable technology companies across the United States and Europe including EMC Cadence Design Systems Inc. and Lexis/Nexis Corporation. In addition Gabbert has had a long history of public service working at the national state and local levels in a variety of leadership and volunteer roles. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Valley Care Health System a hospital and health care system in California.
Gabbert holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a B.S. degree from Purdue University. He also completed the Human Resources Executive Program at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business. |
