Dr. Hahn is the Chief of Staff of the Cleveland Clinic and previously headed Cleveland Clinic Innovations since its establishment in early 2000. Dr. Hahn was also the longest serving Chairman of Surgery in the history of the Cleveland Clinic foundation, having served as Division Chair from 1987 to October 2003. Six of the surgical departments he was responsible for were rated in the top ten in the U.S., and cardiothoracic surgery was ranked #1 for 10 years in a row. As Surgery Chair he managed growth in the Cleveland Clinic's surgical capabilities, ultimately reaching a budget level of more than $600 million with more than 220 surgeons.Dr. Hahn has also served as Chairman of the Department of Neurosurgery and the head of the Pediatric Neurosurgery Section. He attended medical school at the University of Virginia and holds and MBA from Case Western Reserve University. |
