In addition to his responsibilities as a member of the Board of Directors, Mr. Rubin serves as the Company�s corporate counsel.
Mr. Rubin is a founder and Senior Partner of Rubin, Bailin, Ortoli, Mayer, & Baker LLP, an international and domestic corporate and commercial law practice in New York City. He specializes in entrepreneurship and startup ventures, and has acted as advisor and principal in the successful launching of numerous businesses in the U.S. and overseas. Mr. Rubin has also acted as consultant to various institutions and the U.S. and foreign governments on strategic planning, legal issues, and mergers and acquisitions.
Mr. Rubin teaches at the Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs, where he is also Executive Director of the International Technical Assistance Program for Public Affairs (ITAP). The ITAP was developed by Mr. Rubin for Columbia to provide education and training programs in free-market economics and business management to nations in former socialist states and developing areas. Mr. Rubin was Adjunct Professor at the Columbia University Graduate School of Business from 1973 to 1994, and taught at Columbia Law School in 1996.
Mr. Rubin received his law degree from Harvard Law School, and his B.A., MIA, and M.Phil degrees in political science and international relations from Columbia University |
