Josephine Mauskopf, PhD, is global head of Health Economics at RTI Health Solutions. She has extensive experience both as a consultant and within the pharmaceutical industry designing and implementing pharmacoeconomics research strategies for the treatment of a wide range of diseases and disorders. She has estimated the cost-effectiveness and budget impact of drugs that treat medical conditions ranging from epilepsy to neonatal respiratory distress to primary pulmonary hypertension. Dr. Mauskopf has also managed projects to develop or culturally adapt psychometrically valid quality-of-life measures for migraine, genital herpes, and epilepsy. Dr. Mauskopf is editor-in-chief of the journal Value in Health, and has served as a reviewer on the Health Care Technology and Decision Sciences Study Section at the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality. She has presented her research at numerous national and international symposia and has published extensively in medical and pharmaceutical journals. |
