AREAS OF PRACTICE Litigation - General Litigation - Commercial Employment Construction Josh joined Looper, Reed & McGraw's litigation section in early 2007. Josh concentrates his practice primarily in commercial and general litigation. REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE Commercial Litigation Experience Obtained complete dismissal of a California-based company from a lawsuit brought by several investors against it in Dallas,Texas. Assisted in successful defense of debt settlement company in trade secret and breach of contract lawsuit. Successfully Represented Commercial Landlords in Tenant Disputes. Successfully obtained multiple temporary restraining orders in separate breach of contract actions. Defense of businesses in suits brought by former employees for breach of contract,wrongful termination, discrimination. Drafted and successfully argued numerous motions in courts throughout Texas. General Litigation Experience Drafted Brief to Fifth Circuit in age discrimination case that was affirmed without oral argument. Drafted and obtained summary judgment in defense of a school district on claims of age discrimination in Federal District Court. Successfully defended residential tenant in lease dispute with landlord and obtained judgment in favor of residential tenant against the landlord.
