Joshua's primary area of practice is commercial litigation.
Prior to attending law school, Joshua was a lobbyist for the American Association of Community Colleges. Upon graduating from the University of California, Riverside, Joshua became a legal research analyst for the Superior Court of California, Riverside.
While a student at Florida Coastal School of Law, Joshua worked as a Florida Supreme Court Extern for then Chief Justice Barbara J. Pariente. In that capacity, Joshua was able to gain extensive insight into the legal decision making process at the highest level and glean knowledge from Florida's legal elite.
Joshua graduated first in his law school class and received a total of nine Book Awards (Torts I, Torts II, Lawyering Process I ("Research & Writing"), Lawyering Process II, Sales, Evidence, Remedies, Florida Practice and Procedure, and Pretrial Litigation Drafting). He also served as an active member of the Florida Coastal Law Review and twice won the award for Best Appellate Oral Advocate.
