Joshua R. Lorenz is an associate of Meyer, Unkovic & Scott LLP whose practice focuses primarily on business and commercial litigation, real estate litigation and construction litigation.As a member of the firm's Litigation Section, Mr. Lorenz has a range of civil litigation experience and has appeared before various state, federal and bankruptcy courts, as well as numerous arbitration panels. He regularly represents corporate, municipal and individual clients in both the prosecution and defense of their legal matters.A Pittsburgh native, Mr. Lorenz is a frequent speaker on exporting issues, jurisdictional issues and litigation, particularly with respect to minimizing exposure to potential litigation at the inception of a business relationship.Mr. Lorenz is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania's state courts, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of the Allegheny County and Pennsylvania Bar Associations.Mr. Lorenz earned his Juris Doctorate from the Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University where he was selected for membership in the Order of Barristers and was a member of the Woolsack Honor Society. He is a Phi Beta Kappa, magna cum laude graduate of Virginia Tech, with a Bachelors Degree in Political Science. He was awarded the Glen Moser Award for Pi Lambda Phi leadership and service. |
