Joy A. Amundson is a corporate vice president of Baxter Healthcare Corporation and president of the company�s BioScience business. In this position, she is responsible for the development and worldwide marketing of Baxter�s biopharmaceutical, vaccine and biosurgery products.
Prior to joining Baxter in 2004, Ms. Amundson was a principal of Amundson Partners, Inc., a healthcare consulting firm. She also served in a variety of executive positions at Abbott Laboratories for more than 20 years, including as president of that company�s Ross Products division. Ms. Amundson also served in several sales and brand management roles during a six-year tenure at Procter & Gamble.
Ms. Amundson is a member of the board of directors of specialty medical device company INAMED Corp., biopharmaceuticals company ILEX, Inc., and Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in suburban Chicago.
She holds a bachelor of arts degree in journalism and advertising from the University of Wisconsin and a masters of management degree from Northwestern University�s Kellogg Graduate School of Business. |
