Joy Fontaine is an associate in the firm's Corporate and Securities Practice Group. Since joining Drinker Biddle in the fall of 2004, Joy has served the firm's clients in a variety of matters, ranging from general corporate matters to public finance and mergers and acquistions. Joy has represented both nonprofit organizations and underwriters in public finance transactions, senior lenders and syndicate agents in corporate finance transactions, private equity firms in matters ranging from investments in companies to acquistions of companies. Joy has also advised both public and private companies in a variety of of M & A transactions and general corporate matters.
In General. Joy graduated cum laude from Rosemont College in 2000 with a bachelor's degree in English and psychology. Joy is a 2004 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Law School. While at Penn, Joy served on the board of the Guild Food Stamp Clinic, a student-run clinic housed in the offices of Philadelphia Legal Assistance, which helps and advocates for families who are eligible to participate in the Food Stamp program. |
