Joyce milks 200 cows and farms 850 acres of corn, alfalfa, soybeans, small grain and grass hay. She is a member of the DFA Value-Added and DEPAC committees. She also serves as chair of both DFA Cares and the DFA Credential Committee. She also is secretary of DFA�s Northeast Area Council. Her influence reaches beyond DFA as she is a member of the National Dairy Promotion Board for her area, Pennsylvania Dairy Stakeholders, Mid-Atlantic Dairy Association Board, Pennsylvania Holstein Association, Dairy Council and Upper Chesapeake Bay Area Southeast United Dairy Industry Association. Joyce was the recipient of the National Dairy Woman in 1993 and the Pennsylvania Dairy Woman in 1996. |
