Joyce Gaines, was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and moved to California in 1981. She majored in engineering at Villanova University and later graduated from Hubbard College with a degree in Public Relations. She is the current President, Chief Executive Officer and co-owner of United Merchant Services, a financial transaction processing firm which she helped form in 1987. Ms. Gaines also owns and operates Gaines & Associates, a PR/Marketing consulting company. With fifteen years experience in financial services, Ms. Gaines understands the industry, and relates to the opportunities it presents. Her entrepreneurial focus is a resource the bank can call upon in formulating its strategic marketing plans. |
