Judy is the founder and president of Shine Investment Advisory Services, Inc., (SIAS) an independent financial planning and investment advisory firm that manages over $400 million dollars for its clients.
Judy speaks and writes frequently on all aspects of personal financial planning. She has been quoted in various financial publications and professional journals, including Business Week, Boomer Market Advisor, Forbes, Fortune, Financial Advisor, Worth, Smart Money, US News & World Report, The New York Times and The Boston Globe.
Ms. Shine is one of only 25 investment advisors who have been named to Worth magazine's list of "America's Best Investment Advisors" every year from the original publication of the list (1994 to 2003).
She received a BA in psychology from Ohio State University in 1979. After five years with the Xerox Corporation she started her financial planning career with The New England. She completed the requirements to become a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER practitioner and was authorized to use the CFP� mark of distinction in 1985.
Judy is proud to be a longstanding member of the Financial Planning Association, the largest organization of professionals dedicated to championing the financial planning process. She also served as a board member of the Association for 8 years. From 1996-2001, Judy chaired the Editorial Advisory Board of the Journal for Financial Planning.
Her mission is to help clients build and maintain wealth and assist them in achieving their financial goals by providing objective financial guidance.
