Ms. Kurland has served as a director of Matritech since February 2001. Ms. Kurland is currently a self-employed consultant. From March 2001 until August 2002, Ms. Kurland was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Hunt Alternatives, a foundation. Ms. Kurland was the New England Regional Director of the United States Department of Health and Human Services from May 1997 to January 2001. Ms. Kurland served from December 1998 to December 2000 as the Acting Editor of Public Health Reports, the journal of the U.S. Public Health Service. She is a faculty member at Tufts University Medical School, Boston University Medical School, Simmons College, and is presently on leave from teaching at the Harvard School of Public Health. |
