Accomplished in her field, Judy Hamilton Morse is a shareholder and director in the Firm�s Oklahoma City office. Ms. Morse serves as chair of the Litigation section for the Firm. Her practice focuses on litigation and trial practice, as well as bankruptcy and creditors� rights. Her many years of experience have formed the foundation for her knowledgeable lectures on bankruptcy at the University of Oklahoma College of Law, as well as various other lectures on directors and officers liability, ethical considerations in real estate transactions, and commodities bankruptcies. Involved in the law community, Ms. Morse is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, and is the President and Trustee of the Oklahoma Bar Foundation. She is on the Board of Trustees of the American Inns of Court, and is a member of the William J. Holloway, Jr. American Inn of Court Master of the Bench. Ms. Morse dedicates time to philanthropic measures as well, including participation in Oklahoma Lawyers for Children, Leadership Oklahoma City, and the Legal Aid Fund Drive. Additionally, she is a board member and former chairman of the Oklahoma Appleseed Center for Law and Justice. Ms. Morse received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Oklahoma, where she graduated as a member of the prestigious scholastic organization, Phi Beta Kappa. She continued her education at the University of Oklahoma College of Law, where she received her Juris Doctor. She graduated with honors, and was a member of the elite academic societies of Order of the Coif and Phi Delta Phi. Additionally, she was editor-in-chief of the Oklahoma Law Review, and was awarded the Nathan Scarritt Prize for the highest law school grade point average. |
