Head of Human Resources Member of the Executive Committee of Novartis Juergen Brokatzky-Geiger is Head of Human Resources of Novartis, a position he assumed in September 2003. He has been a member
of the Executive Committee of Novartis since January 2005. Juergen Brokatzky-Geiger joined Ciba-Geigy, a predecessor company of Novartis, in 1983 as a Laboratory Head in the Pharmaceuticals Division. After a job rotation in Summit, New Jersey, he held a number of positions of increasing responsibility, including Group Leader of Process R&D, Head of Process R&D, and Head of Process Development and Pilot Plant Operations. During the creation of Novartis in 1996, he was appointed Integration Officer of Technical Operations. He then became the Head of Chemical and Analytical Development, and served from 1999 to August 2003 as the Global Head of Technical R&D. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Freiburg, Germany. |
