Julaine Lampton is a managing director with FTI Palladium Partners and is based in Atlanta. Ms. Lampton has more than 10 years of experience in financial advisory services and has been involved in numerous financial advisory cases, including development of strategic, operational and financial alternatives, development and manipulation of comprehensive multiple year business plan and cash flow models, production of detailed business plan presentations and operational turnaround plans, development of detailed financial analytics, performance metrics and reporting packages and cash flow monitoring. In addition, she has served in interim management roles, assisted companies in the development and implementation of cost saving initiatives and assisted companies in debt refinancing.
Ms. Lampton recently served as the interim chief financial officer for an $80 million manufacturer of bimetallic wire. Her work included restructuring of the company's finance group; development and implementation of a new chart of accounts; development of a multiple year business plan model, encompassing a rationalization plan; development of internal reporting tools, including daily management dashboard, month end financial reporting package, daily cash management forecasting tool and 13 week cash flow forecast; and development of templates for required bank reporting packages. She was also involved in identifying and prioritizing issues related to systems integration and refinancing the company's debt structure in both the United States and the United Kingdom.
Ms. Lampton was also recently involved in serving as the financial and operational advisor to a $250 million manufacturer of ready-to-assemble furniture. Her specific work included analyzing the company's manufacturing operations, developing operational and profit improvement initiatives, monitoring manufacturing cost reduction and efficiency improvement efforts, assisting in the assessment and development of its organizational structure and processes and assisting in the development of a global sourcing strategy. Further, Ms. Lampton also served as the operational advisor for a $75 million manufacturer and supplier of rubber and vinyl products, where she assisted in the development of a detailed operational plan and strategy to shutdown a domestic manufacturing facility and transition production to China.
Additional examples of Ms. Lampton's experience include providing financial advisory services to a $1 billion automotive supplier, a $1.2 billion carpet manufacturing company and a $2 billion home textile manufacturer. She has also served as financial advisor to the senior lending group of a $650 million manufacturer of steel construction products, a $500 million trucking company, a $600 million denim and khaki manufacturer and a privately-owned industrial ammonia distribution and chlor-alkali manufacturing chemicals company.
Ms. Lampton has co-authored two articles published in the Daily Bankruptcy Review titled "Hedge Funds: The New Restructuring Player?" and "Rapid Improvement: Turning on a Dime."
Ms. Lampton holds a B.S. magna cum laude in accounting and mathematics from Culver-Stockton College. She is a certified public accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Turnaround Management Association, Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors and Women's Finance Exchange.
