Julie Laulis is vice president of operations - SW Division for Cable One. She joined Cable One in 1999 as director of marketing - NW Division. In 2001 she was promoted to vice president of operations for the SW Division, where she is responsible for overall operations of 14 systems representing approximately 130,000 customers. She also has executive oversight of the Customer Care Center, whose mission is to provide excellent and efficient first call resolution to customers after regular hours.
Prior to Cable One, Laulis was with Jones Communications in the Washington, DC area, joining as marketing manager. She was promoted to director of marketing in Jones' Denver headquarters and returned to the DC area as senior director of marketing when Jones became the largest cable operator in the region. Her more than ten-year tenure ended when Jones was purchased by Comcast in 1999.
Laulis began her career in the cable industry with Hauser Communications. She joined as a customer service representative, and later became training coordinator, customer service manger, and marketing manager.
She graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington with a BA in telecommunications. She also graduated from the Program for Management Development at the Harvard Business School.
Laulis lives in Phoenix with her husband John and their two children.
