Julia Eakes serves as the Executive Vice President and Managing Partner of the firm's San Francisco, CA office. Ms. Eakes combines over 25 years of industry experience with four years of senior-level executive search experience in the retailing, technology and professional services industries. Her clients represent a combination of global retailers, technology providers and professional services firms who provide services and technology solutions to retailers. Prior to joining DHR International in Los Angeles, Ms. Eakes spent four years with Highland Partners Executive Search in Atlanta, a spin off from TMP Worldwide. Ms. Eakes was also a Partner with KPMG Consulting for 5 years in the Consumer Markets Practice where she focused on the retail industry in the areas of merchandising, supply chain, finance, and operations. Additionally Ms. Eakes spent almost 10 years with Deloitte as an Executive Vice President with the Garr Consulting Division focused on the retail enterprise. In addition to her 15 years of consulting experience serving the retail industry and improving supply chain effectiveness, Ms. Eakes has experience with Bass Shoes, The Athlete�s Foot, and The Gap in both field and corporate positions. Ms. Eakes is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a BA in Business Administration and Education. She is actively involved in National Association of Corporate Directors, the Council of Logistics Management, and the Retail Industry Leadership Association.
