Julie Meek, DNS has served as Chief Science Officer for CareGuide since December 2006. Dr. Meek was the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Science Officer for The Haelan Group, now a wholly owned subsidiary of CareGuide. Dr. Meek founded The Haelan Group in 1995. A nationally recognized expert in predictive modeling and behavioral health coaching, Dr. Meek is the inventor of Haelan's science, software and business practices. For more than two decades, Dr. Meek has been working with companies to enhance their workplace culture, improve employee health and productivity, and establish effective population health management strategies for decreased healthcare costs. Her long-term research and development efforts have focused on predictive modeling, health coaching and the perceived health model, resulting in the One Care StreetTM health management program. Dr. Meek is a prominent speaker at national conferences and also is published in the areas of predictive modeling, behavior change, behavioral coaching, disease management, benefit strategies, outcomes evaluation and ROI. Dr. Meek earned her Doctorate, with highest distinction, in 1993 in behavioral science, research and statistics from Indiana University, where she was also awarded a three-year Research Fellow position. |
