Julie A. Teuscher is of counsel in the firm's Chicago office. Ms. Teuscher specializes in medical malpractice litigation with an interest in products liability, construction law and premises liability. Ms. Teuscher has served as both first and second chair in trials in the practice areas of medical malpractice, construction law and general negligence in both the State and Federal courts.
Ms. Teuscher has extensive experience in medical malpractice litigation and has defended medical malpractice cases at trial in cases involving a variety of medical specialties -- obstetrics and gynecology, opthamology, and neurology. In addition, Ms. Teuscher also has extensive experience defending medical practitioners and health care organizations in other specialties in cases that were resolved prior to trial.
In addition to her trial experience, Ms. Teuscher has a wealth of experience in pretrial litigation, including analyzing cases and developing a defense strategy. These cases include products liability actions, construction actions and general negligence claims.
Ms. Teuscher has been a frequent lecturer on various medical-legal issues and has spoken on medical malpractice issues before medical residents. In addition, she has spoken on issues under the recent tort reform changes.

Ms. Teuscher is a member of many professional organizations and during law school, competed for and was selected as a participant in the Regional Moot Court Competition.
