Julie La Rocca focuses on the development of esoteric Immunohistochemical (IHC) assays to enhance personalized medicine through the profiling of each patient's specific tumor for the Target Now Program. Julie has a depth of knowledge about the development of IHC assays utilizing esoteric antibodies for profiling cell signaling pathways. Julie has also played an integral role in the start up and compliance of the Molecular Profiling laboratory. Julie comes to The Molecular Profiling Institute from Ventana Medical Systems, Inc. where she was a Research Scientist central to the development of new esoteric antibody tests for IHC. Julie received her B.S. in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Arizona, and an M.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Alaska, Fairbanks. |
