Julie Spellman Sweet is a partner in the Firm�s Corporate Department. Julie�s practice consists primarily of private equity matters, including mergers and acquisitions, public and private financings, and general corporate work for the portfolio companies acquired by these funds. She also has substantial experience representing underwriters in public and private financings and in executing spin-offs for corporate clients.
Julie was born in Orange, California. She joined Cravath in 1992 and became a partner in 2000. She speaks Mandarin Chinese and has spent a substantial amount of time in Hong Kong and China.
